General Care – Cleaning

Your Erasable Markerboard is an amazing new product that will give you years of lasting service if you follow these instructions. Completely erase your board after each day’s use. The longer marks remain on the board, the more difficult they become to erase. Stubborn, old marks can be erased by marking over them with your Black Erasable Marker. For general cleaning, simply wipe your board clean with a soft, wet cloth. If further cleaning is necessary, use Markerboard Cleaner, rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft towel

Erasable Markers

The Erasable Marker has a solvent base that dries quickly. This is the key to its erasability. As a result, the Marker should be kept tightly capped when not in use. If the cap is left off, the tip will go dry. If this happens, it may be possible to rewet the tip. Cap the marker, turn it upside down and shake vigorously up and down for 20 seconds. Leaving the marker stored overnight in an upside down position also helps. With proper care, this Marker will have a very long life as compared to regular markers. The Marker is designed specifically to work on the Erasable Markerboard. It is not recommended for use on other products.
